This Caterpillar 583T ROPS Pipelayer is a handmade brass construction precision scale model and is made in a limited edition of in total only 310 pieces in 2006 by CCM in 1:48th scale.

225 pieces were released that are only equipped with an open ROPS and another 85 pieces that are also equipped with a closed cabin. Of these, another eighteen were used for six exclusive CAT 583T Pipelayer Triad Sets delivered on a special pedestal.

The Caterpillar 583T ROPS Pipelayer scale model is packaged in a deluxe gift box and comes with a signed certifcate. I am a happy collector and in possession of #205.
