On Saturday 24th June 2023, the MINITRUCK 2023 was held in EXPO Houten, at Meidoornkade 24 in Houten , The Netherlands.  

Of course the focus during the event was on trucks, trucks and much more trucks, but there was certainly something to experience for the (Caterpillar) Earthmoving machine collectors as well.

A successful event for us. Saw many old acquaintances and also made a number of promising new contacts. all in all, more than worth visiting the MINITRUCK 2023 Event!

FanKit Models

FanKit Models from Romania was present  and, in addition to its wide range of trucks like their famous Oshkosh J30120 Heavy Haulage Tractor in both 1:87th and 1:50th scales, they showed the brand new custom Caterpillar 977L Track Loader! AWESOME!

 This next knock out model of the Caterpillar 977L Track Loader is equipped with an original USA factory made cabin (Thanks Shay S.!) and will be available in very limited numbers. If you are interested please make contact by e-mail to fankitmodels@yahoo.com.

Dan Models

Dan Models from Romania, formerly known as Miniatur-Models.com was showing a selection of its Caterpillar Golden Oldies such as the Caterpillar D7 and D6 Dozer in different variants and off course old style USA Trucks, including some new specials available as 3D model and kit in 1:50th scale. Unfortunately, the Freightliner Truck and Dodge D500 Pickup are not equipped with a Caterpillar engine but for this event I make an exception and share them as a teaser. 

We are investigating whether it is possible to realize these models in Caterpillar Pac Man Old Caterpillar Yellow with suitable (Caterpillar) cargo. To be continued and all input with photos from your archive is more than welcome!
